The 2022 Taiwan-Thailand Industrial Collaboration Summit
Dear Textile Industry Colleagues:
Taiwan and Thailand's textile industry collaboration has entered the sixth year. In 2017, Thailand Textile Institute and the Taiwan Textile Research Institute held the 2017 Taiwan-Thailand Industry collaboration Summit in Bangkok. TTRI and THTI signed a MOU cooperation. After that, Taiwan and Thailand Formal textile exchange and interaction began, and several important cooperation and exchange activities were established successively.
In the 2021, TTRI -Thailand Industrial Collaboration, Taiwan Textile Research Institute and Thailand Textile Institute signed a new cooperation agreement. To set up a Taiwan-Thailand testing and verification joint service center to build up functional and medical protective textile testing capabilities.
In 2022, TTRI and THTI have an intended to deepen cooperation on the basis of testing and verification. THTI expressed his expectation that TTRI and THTI can jointly promote textile product standards and certification, and promote the establishment of "Taiwan-Thailand Textiles industry Joint Verification Expert Committee", to standardize the textile industry: testing, verification, and product certification consistency. And hopes to share the successful cases of Thailand textile labels at a seminar jointly held by TTRI and THTI on the 2022 year themes:
(1) Taiwan-Thailand Textile products testing and verification standards Cooperation,
(2) Bio, Circular and Green Economic Model
(3) Apparel 3D Practical Virtual Reality Design and Digital Process Application
