********สถาบันพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมสิ่งทอ ภายใต้การกำกับดูแลของกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม ได้รับการสนับสนุนจากสำนักงานเศรษฐกิจอุตสาหกรรมดำเนินโครงการยกระดับคุณภาพ สินค้า สิ่งทอด้วยเทคโนโลยีฟอกย้อมและตกแต่งสำเร็จเพื่อจัดตั้งศูนย์พัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ สิ่งทอ (Textile Development Center) ให้เป็นศูนย์กลางในการวิจัยและพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์สิ่งทอใหม่ๆ เพื่อสร้างนวัตกรรม (Innovation) และความหลากหลายของผลิตภัณฑ์ทั้งในด้านแฟชั่นและการเพิ่มคุณสมบัติพิเศษ (Function) อย่างจริงจังและต่อเนื่อง สามารถนำผลการวิจัยนั้นไปใช้ได้ในภาคอุตสาหกรรมได้ในลักษณะนำร่อง เพื่อเป็นแนวทงในการพัฒนาในเชิงพาณิชย์ให้กับผู้ประกอบการในอุตสาหกรรมสิ่ง ทอและเครื่องนุ่งห่มในประเทศต่อไป

********Thailand Textile Institute has been funded by Office Industrial Economics under a project “Upgrading quality of textile product using dyeing and finishing technology” To set up Textile Development Center to be a center for research and development of new textile product. To develop innovation and create variety in both fashion and function aspects. As well as transfer research and development outcomes to be used as prototype for further development to be commercial products in textile and clothing industry.
